I am still here, but as usual when a new version of Movable Type comes out I tend to go a bit more quiet while I dig into all the newness and consider what I do and don't want to do with all the new opportunities.

I have already got an off line copy set up and I am spending a lot of time playing. Have imported most of the old entries and are adding new ones as I have something to talk about. Still haven't decided how I am going to handle the wishblade files and all the other misc stuff, but that will all come in good time.

As for all the other stuff going on I will talk about eventually. Right now I am doing what I need to do. 

*bangs head against desk*

The one thing I keep forgetting about my local development setup (XAMPP from ApacheFriends on Win XP2) is that there is not thumbnail generation going on. Makes it kinda difficult to get a good picture of what things will look like.

Yes, I am working on the site again and this is a small sneak peak of things to come. I wanted something a bit whimsical, but also very simple and I think I have managed to do that with this set of graphics.

Originally I had one set of graphics all made up, but when it came time for coding it became clear that they were big, chunky and not really a style a can live with for a longer period of time. So out the window (or into the bit bucket) they went.

The weather has finally settled down with a bit warmer temperatures and almost no wind. Earlier this week, things were durn cold and it sounded like the house had become the target of a shooting range with the wind hurling acorns around.

65 more entries to go before I am caught up with all the wishblade entries. I know it's my own choosing to re-enter and replublish all those many entries, but durn it'd been nice if there was an easier way. Ahh well I'll be done soon enough and a lot of it is copy and paste and hit insert for thumbnail and zip file. I swear though, that this will be the last time I move stuff around like this, unless the wishblade section takes off and needs it's own space.

Zero entries to go. Boy does it feel good to finally being done with the major part of the site which has been hanging over my head.
