Hoping this weekend will be quiet and as normal as anything can be around here. Really need not having to worry and concentrate about outside issues. Hubby and I need time to just be and be us for a while.

As ready as I am for spring like weather, I am not ready for the storms and really bad weather like the stuff potentially moving into the area tonight. *ugh*

Thanks to those of you who said your prayers. Right now things are calm though I do remain guarded to a certain degree.

I cannot and will not go into details, but to those of you who pray or believe in sending good thoughts etc, please pray for peace, comfort and healing.

I am seriously starting to wonder if we ever are going to see this thing called spring. We were supposed to get a bit of rain, but to me it looks a lot more like snow coming down and it's sticking in places too.

Still a bit heavy at heart about some stuff going on, but in time it will all sort itself out one way or another.

So I might or might not be home alone for the next couple of days. Something came up in the family and hubby is considering hitting the road, but he haven't made up his mind yet (At least not that I am aware of at the time of posting).

The snow we got the other day turned out to be bit more than expected, but it has already disappeared again. It was so weird for a while. I went to take my usual nap and all we were getting were a mix of mostly rain and a little bit of snow. When I woke up it was big fat flakes and it actually covered the ground. Needless to say I was enjoying it while everything was looking pretty, but as much as I love snow I think I am ready for spring. I love the time of year when I can start keeping the windows open for longer and longer periods of time without feeling like the house turns into a freezer.

The kitties have been enjoying the open windows too and several times we've been subjected to their lots and lots of fresh air antics.

Surfing around, trying to find stuff that is NOT about the election or the latest celebrity divorce, but it seems like what most everyone is concerned about today. Even on my usual scrapbooking hangouts they're mostly talking about elections and divorce. Maybe I should just go a play some Pogo instead.

The kitties got mail today. It was actually addressed to me, but I was asked to pass on the promotional can of cat food when I had time. Hubby asked that I wait, because he wants to be there when they make their decision about whether or not to like it.

Am still trying not to run around like a headless chicken wanting to get everything done ahead of the possible visit for Thanksgiving. We have already made plans for the extra mouths to feed and the house cleaning isn't going to be that big a deal since I manage to stay mostly on top of that anyway.
