The local weather guys sure wasn't kidding when they talked about a wind advisory for today. The wind is blowing fiercely out there and the house feels cold even with the heat turned on.

The weekend had me find stuff at Joanns that I had hoped finding but not counted on. A full set of Studio G Clear Christmas acrylic stamps. All 24 mini sets. Those combined with the other various Christmas stamps in my collection makes a pretty good all around collection of seasonal stamps.

It has been a while since I have had to use the UPS website for tracking purposes, so I wasn't aware of the changes they have made to the amount of information given out. Imagine my surprise when pulling up the information for the shipment from StampinUp and seeing Omaha on the first line. It was almost heart attack central until I realized that Omaha was where the package was on its way to and not where it was. Would have been nice if they were that fast without me having to pay that kind of money for shipping.

Yeah a rubber addict can dream :)

Ummm is it a bad thing that I just "found" an unopened package of the Provo Craft Christmas Slab III? I think that thing came out in 2005 and I had such a hard time finding it. It took forever for my local Michaels to get their shipment on the shelf (very late November, early December).

Don't worry, I do actually have a couple of ideas to break it in.

I could probably sell it on Ebay since it's unopened.

What is the silliest thing you've ever spent more than $30 bucks on?

Probably ribbon from the $1 bins at Michaels. Specially considering I've already got more ribbon than I probably know what to do with. But ribbon is like crack. I hear it call my name every time I enter a store where I'd expect to find such things. Specially stores where I know such things can be gotten cheap. In my defense though, I've got very few (if any) spools of ribbon I've paid full price for.
